My opinion on Aptos changed
My opinion on Aptos changed after actually researching the ecosystem. When Aptos first came out, I honestly ignored it. Most conversations were focused on the launch problems, token unlock concerns, and whether it was overhyped. I never really looked beyond that. Recently I started following the ecosystem again and paying attention to things like DeFi activity, developer updates, stablecoin usage, and applications being built on the network.
I’m still not convinced that every Layer 1 will succeed, and Aptos has plenty of competition, but I think judging it only by its launch is outdated. The bigger question now is whether developers and users continue building around it. For people who have followed Aptos since the beginning, has your view changed over time? What made you more or less confident in the project?
I had almost the same experience. At launch, the conversation was mostly negative, so I ignored it. Later I realized that early problems do not always decide the future of a network. The execution after launch matters more.
