For those who've followed XRP for a while, what makes you believe in it ?
I've been seeing a lot more XRP posts lately, and one thing I've noticed is that whenever XRP starts getting attention, the discussions seem much more intense than with most other coins.
Some people talk about institutional adoption, regulations, and long-term utility. Others say it's mostly community-driven hype. As someone still learning, I find it hard to tell where genuine excitement ends and speculation begins.
For those who've followed XRP for a while, what makes you believe in it (or stay skeptical of it)?"
For me, the bullish case for XRP has always been its focus on cross-border payments and its relationships with financial institutions. Supporters see value in its speed, low transaction costs, and the possibility of broader real-world adoption if Ripple's payment network grows.
That said, I stay cautious because a lot of XRP's price action has historically been driven by speculation and community sentiment rather than usage metrics alone. The technology has strengths, but whether that translates into long-term value is still an open question.
So I'd say the XRP story is a mix of genuine utility potential and market hype—figuring out the balance between those two is the key challenge.
I've been around XRP since the last bull run.
What keeps me paying attention is that it never really goes away. Every few months people start talking about it again, and there's usually some new development or partnership being discussed. Doesn't mean every claim is true, but it's one of the few projects that's stayed in the conversation for years.
