Is Telegram Changing How People Use TON?
Telegram rolling out the native Gram wallet is pretty interesting. I get the basic idea that crypto is now sitting much closer to the Telegram experience instead of being something you have to go elsewhere for. But I'm still wondering how much this actually changes the way people use TON. Is the wallet mainly about sending Gram between Telegram users, or is it meant to become the entry point for the wider TON ecosystem too?

I think it's both, although the second part is probably more important.
to my understanding, a wallet gives you somewhere to hold and send the asset, but TON has been trying to make Telegram the place where people actually interact with TON apps and services. So the wallet is basically another piece of that connection. What I find interesting is that someone could come into TON through Telegram without ever thinking- I'm going to use a blockchain today.
They could just be using a Telegram feature that happens to run through TON.
That's pretty much how I'd look at it. The interesting part isn't that Telegram has created another wallet. It's that the wallet sits inside an app people already use every day. Normally there's a learning curve: get a wallet, understand addresses, move funds to it, figure out which network you're on, etc. Putting that functionality closer to the messaging experience removes some of those steps. The bigger test for TON is what happens after that. Does the wallet lead people into payments, Mini Apps, games and other TON services, or does it just sit there unused?
