Has anyone had to pay a fee to withdraw BTC?

Trying to move some BTC out of a platform I've been using. The withdrawal has been sitting there since yesterday and support said there's a fee I need to take care of first.It's around $1,800, which feels high, but maybe I'm missing something. Anyone dealt with this?

$1,800 sounds pretty wild unless you're moving a ridiculous amount. Is it a normal network fee or something the platform is charging?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. They called it a “clearance fee.” I haven't paid it yet.

It's FQL. I've been using it for a bit, so that's why I'm confused about this.

I just searched it too. There are some pretty recent complaints. I'd definitely hold off on the $1,800 for now.

Yeah, I'm not sending it. I honestly thought the fee might just be because I'm withdrawing a bigger amount.
