Been checking out the November crypto events listed on CNF

Been checking out the November crypto events listed on CNF, and there are some interesting ones coming up around the world. ETHGlobal Mumbai, Bitcoin Amsterdam, and the Global Blockchain Show in Abu Dhabi caught my eye.

Anyone here planning to attend any of these? I'm curious what people actually get out of these events. Is it the networking, discovering new projects, or just hearing perspectives you don't usually get online?

ETHGlobal Mumbai sounds interesting, especially with the hackathon side of it. I've never been to one, though. Can regular crypto users get something out of these events, or are they mostly useful for developers?

I'd guess the hackathon is mainly for builders, but watching teams work on actual projects could be interesting too. I'd want to see what people make by the end rather than just hear ideas.

Bitcoin Amsterdam is the one I'd be most tempted by. But the travel and ticket costs add up. People who've attended these conferences before, did you actually make useful connections, or was it mostly listening to speakers and heading home?

That's the part I'd like to know too 😂 Everyone talks about networking, but how does it actually happen? Do you just walk up to people between sessions, or are there smaller meetups where conversations feel less awkward?

I've seen a few crypto events coming up in November, but I've never actually been to one. Always wondered what people do there apart from listening to speakers 😅 Do you get to meet other people, check out new projects, that sort of thing? Would be cool to hear from someone who's been to one before. Not sure what to expect tbh.
